M599LMR AUDIO DRIVER

From what i’ve seen you need to locate the jumper JP11 on your motherboard and remove it to enable audio. If this is your first visit, be sure to check out the FAQ by clicking the link above. Sinse i dont know what kind of motherboard you have i cant give you a direct link to the drivers, but if you need help in finding them you should simply reply saying what make and model your board is and i could point you to the right place. As to the port bay its hard to say with out a picture or a make and model of the case its installed in. There are pictures in the manual to point you to the right place. When i try to use an audio program, it windows says there’s no devices installed for that. For the sound drivers, it seems that accidentally pointed you to the vga drivers instead of the audio drivers.

OK, after looking at the internet a little bit i’ve also come to the conclusion that it looks like your board is the MLMR just like said.

To install drivers either find the install disk that came with your board, if you have one i have this site here that contains drivers for that board. I’ve found this site that contains aaudio operating manual for the MLMR. Go Here to look at it. If it is the lmr then the bios,manuals and drivers are here at PC Chips under discontinued products. I tried to use the floppy’s cable on this weird card-thing other end plugged into the floppy drive controller on Mobo but windows XP pro didn’t recognize any new hardware.

Well, I don’t know exaclty how to tell who made my motherboard.

If it’s not properly installed then you should go to your motherboard manufacturer’s website and download the proper drivers and install them. As its a works PC do you not have technical support to do this work?

I couldn’t find anything in BIOS that referred to audio either. Before you do anything i say you should do you should do just as he said m599mr make sure that your motherboard is definately that with aida To find the audio drivers look for the CMI Chip drivers in the audio section of the discontinued products page.

It has onboard audio ports in the back, but they don’t work. Is there a jumper somewhere I need to switch? In the manual, do a search for the word jp11 ,599lmr find the locations that talk about audio. I tried to search for new hardware Go to you device manager and check if your sound card is properly installed and does’nt have any exclamation points next to it’s name or is not audii in your other devices section.

Also, there is a port bay on the right hand side of the PC, sort of sticking out at a 45 degree angle.
