I have been having the same problem as many of you with the “Your device could not be installed, an error occured, the required section could not be found in the INF” issue. Tech support scams are an industry-wide issue where scammers attempt to trick you into paying for unnecessary technical support services.
All you need to do is open up your GPS software and connect on the COM port it has bound to which can be changed later and you should start receiving a GPS signal providing you are outside! I’ve tried them on XPpro and Win Install BToes software as per instructions. After several hours trying to get BToes to work in Windows XP Pro, with problems similar to those described above, I seem to have finally succeeded in getting it to work. Thanks for marking this as the answer. But if the XP Computer looses allready the internet connection after the installation of the bluetooth adapter – this is not yet possible.
Plug device into PC, to see that it now “sees” some of Bluetooth devices, but not all of Bluetooth services are installed and supported using default drivers acquired and installed by Windows 7. Very nice this sollution, but I’m not planning to completly reinstall all my ubs hubs! The software on the installation cd seems to be for something completely different so I’d downloaded the bluetooth drivers from msi’s website but still no luck.
Another inconvenient part is that when uninstalling the device does not fully uninstall the device I have also disconnected my internet connection during the driver installation. And I’m having a problem with mine also Installs ok in device manager but wont “talk” to my mobile at all, so though I’d update driver acceot I need a security key form widicom, so I have t key in the Mac ID of the BT dongle, but it tells me it’s wrong, even though I am looking exactly where they tell me to.
I also tried the bluteooth software with no success. Looks like I am not the only one with this problem Installed the older software Came on CD all goes well until you restart – computer is unable to detect usb device.
Ihave had similar cases When you open up the box you boes find the very small USB plug, with a plastic cap on so you can protect the USB plug when you take it away with you, and also a lanyard chord so if you want to be hip and cool, you can hang the Bluetooth Adapter from your bfoes.
MaxAllen Replied on January 22, So, I am not the only one with that problem. There in no Bluetooth device in the system overview.
Installation Installing the Bluetooth dongle is easy. Right click again and choose Export.

How satisfied are you with this response? The CD enclosed is for WiFi adaptors and not for the bluetooth.
Sorry this didn’t help. MSI sell this stuff, but doesn’t help at all when you have trouble!
